Viewport ("the App") is a web application for scheduling and publishing a creator's own video content to Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, and for reviewing how that content performed. This policy explains what data the App handles and why.
This policy applies to people who create an account and use the App to publish their own content. If you are reading this because you saw a post published through the App on TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube, this policy does not apply to you — see the relevant platform's own privacy policy.
Uploaded videos, captions, the publishing queue and metrics are stored in the App's database and file storage, separated per account, and used only to operate the features the user asked for. Each account can see only its own data. The App relies on these providers to run, each processing data only to deliver the App's functionality:
Account data, captions, the publishing queue and metrics are kept while the user's account is active. Uploaded video files are kept only as long as they are needed: a video is deleted once its post has been published or cancelled, 14 days after a post failed, and 48 hours after upload if it was never added to the queue. A user can disconnect any social media account at any time, which revokes the App's access to it, and can request deletion of their account and all associated data by writing to the address below; deleting an account deletes its posts, metrics and stored videos. Content already published to a platform must be removed on that platform.
Users may request a copy of the data held about them, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Requests can be sent to the address below.
This policy may be updated. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
Viewport is operated by Tomáš Dvořák. Questions about this policy, or a data request, can be sent to tdvorak369@gmail.com.
